Hi Amanda here Style Director for Yazz No.1 Hair Studio
I started my hairdressing career at Vidal Sassoon and travelled Europe and worked there for five years.
I have enjoyed learning all aspects of hairdressing.
I have been at Yazz nearly seven years and enjoy the busy modern atmosphere the training is exceptional and ongoing.
I have been on many courses including Tigi retail revival courses as I am very interested in the retail side and training
Recently I went to LAS VEGAS to the Tigi convention 2007 which was great gave me a better insight to international hairdressing
Also I have travelled to BARBADOS as top retailer of the salon 2006
I will continue training and enjoying work at Yazz .I have a busy clientele and enjoy meeting new people making them feel better about themselves creating new looks.

I joined Yazz 4 years ago from Matrix where I was employed as a colour technician educator for over ten years cumulating in 1998 being voted educator of the year and using the experience and knowledge to great advantage at Yazz.
I divide her extensive skills between the Rawdon salon and the Yeadon salon within LA Fitness gym and enjoy all aspects of hairdressing from colouring, cutting, hair relaxing and straightening.
I’m also actively involved with coaching the less experienced members of the team in achieving better results, building and sharing current information skills to the benefit of the individuals and ultimately the salons.

Hi my name is Charlotte, I am currently at school, but after school and school holidays I work in the salon. My ambition is to be a fully qualified stylist with a full column of clients!!!
I first joined Yazz when I was doing my work experience from school, in June 2007; I loved it so much I decided to stay! My apprentice will start in September, which I am really looking forward too.

My speciality within the salon is to be visual and creative and this is reflected in my skills. I especially enjoy Party Hair, Wedding Hair and love doing photo shoots and getting involved in competitions.
I also love applying the Tigi makeup to my clients and this is the finishing touch to the Party hair etc.
I thoroughly enjoy working with the Yazz team and we have had some wild nights out!!!!

I have been with the Yazz team for one year but have been hairdressing for four years now. When I was at college I won the apprentice of the year award and since then gone from strength to strength and now reached the level of Senior Stylist. I am part of the artistic team here at Yazz and often go to London on various training courses. I’m hoping to keep progressing this year and be part of TIGI inspirational youth 2008. |

In June 2002 I completed my school work placement at Yazz and was offered a Saturday position. After my GCSE’s I started as a trainee and after gaining my NVQ qualification became a stylist 3 years ago.
Last year I was successful in being chosen from hairdressers all over England to take part in the Inspirational Youth at the Tigi Academy in London. Here I learnt cutting techniques and worked with photographic and catwalk models.
My training at the Tigi Academy is continuous and I bring this experience into my work.
I enjoy working at Yazz with loyal, friendly and supportive staff with an excellent training programme. |

I’ve been working at Yazz for 7 months now as an apprentice hairdresser.
Whilst I have been at Yazz I have attended a Tigi Retail Revival course and a Matrix Opti-Smooth course, this has helped to enhance my knowledge and to gain more experience in the hair industry.
I have also taken part in the Yorkshire Hairdressing championships where I completed a hair up, which I love to do as well as to colour.
The Yazz team have been very supportive towards me and my training and are behind me 100%.

I started working at Yazz number One hair studio approx three years ago, as the receptionist, which I really enjoyed, but decided after watching the other stylists at work, that hairdressing was something I wanted to get into.
I then enrolled onto a barbering course at Thomas Danby in Leeds, which gave me something to get my teeth into. It took me a year to qualify, and since then I have done a creative gents cutting course.
I love working at Yazz, and I work with a brilliant team of people, who are not just my work colleagues but my friends, I am grateful for the support I have received over the last few years and look forward to going onto other courses. |

Hi my name is Karen I have worked at Yazz forever! I am just about to move forward in my career to train to be an NVQ assessor, and I will also be working with my existing clients within the salon. Once I gain the qualification I aim to open a training school within Yazz along with the existing trainer Carol.
The salon has a great team and I have enjoyed all of my time at Yazz, Paul has successfully succeeded in maintaining high standards with all of the training for the young team, who I am sure will go far.

Hi here we go this is all about me!
My role in the salon is different everyday, my main role being supportive to the team (making sure they have the ability to do what they do best which is cut hair and be creative!) I also work along side Paul in the managerial side of the salon.
My career has been varied and interesting, ranging from working as a rep for smithclinne Beecham to department manager for cosmetics and fragrance in Harvey Nichols Leeds, but wherever I have been I have always worked with people and managed to get the best from them.
We offer a makeover service combining hair and makeup, Charlotte does the hairups and I apply the makeup my experience gained from working with many cosmetic houses.
I am really looking forward to the future with Yazz so much is happening with lots of opportunity, WATCH THIS SPACE, come in and see us!!

Hi there I`m Michelle and work in the beauty salon within Yazz Number One Hair Studio. I offer a full range of treatments and I am qualified in all fields including, Dermalogica, Jessica, Backscratchers Silk Nails, St Tropex Tanning, Waxing, Brazilian, all aspects of makeup and Hollywood Lashes lasting up to three months,
My other qualifications include CIDESCO, C.I.B.T.A.C, ITEC, therefore any treatments you would require we can do that for you.

Hi I am Olivia, I am a creative Principal Stylist at Yazz Number One Hair Studio. I have been at Yazz for nearly two years now and absolutely loving it. I have been a hairdresser for almost five years and have achieved levels one, two and three whilst being at Yazz.
I have been given the most fantastic opportunities. I have been on advanced cutting courses at the TIGI Hairdressing Academy and various trips to London to see the world of hairdressing come alive.
Anyway enough about me, it will be fantastic to meet you, for me to take care of all your needs where hair is concerned, bye for now.

I have worked at the salon since it opened and have seen many changes throughout the business bringing it to the standard it is today. Over this time I have built up a strong clientele. I have a number of regular clients and I now class most of them as friends, so much so I can hardly fit anyone in my column!!
I work 3 days a week and am married with a teenage daughter.
I really enjoy working with the team at Yazz and the whole atmosphere that the salon creates, I also have a diploma is customer service and use this to the best of my ability. |

Hi I have worked for the Yazz team for approximately 4 years now, I am very busy!! I have managed to build a strong and reliable client base and also gain new customers; I also have a diploma in customer service and also have also been on many tigi retail courses.
I won inspirational youth 2006, and really enjoyed the journey that got me there. This involved 6 months training in London working with TIGI creative team doing photo shoots and stage work. I also won Retailer of the year 2007 within the salon and won myself a trip to Barbados, courtesy of Mr Shakeshaft!! The team around me are inspiring and we are one big happy family|! |
